Dear Readers, Authors, and Colleagues,
This issue of the International Journal of Development & Conflict (IJDC) arrives later than our readers have come to expect, and we owe you a transparent account of the circumstances that led to this delay.
In late 2025, our journal underwent a significant institutional transition, relocating from its previous host institution to a new academic home. While such transitions are a natural part of a journal’s evolution, the migration of our editorial infrastructure, website, and digital publishing systems proved more complex and time-consuming than anticipated. We are pleased to report that this process has now been completed successfully, and the journal stands on a strong and stable foundation for the years ahead.
We wish to assure our readers, contributing authors, and indexing partners that throughout this transition, the integrity of our peer-review process was fully maintained. Every article published in this issue has undergone the same rigorous double-blind review that has defined our standards since the journal’s inception. The publication date of each article accurately reflects the date on which it was made publicly available — July 2026 — in keeping with our commitment to transparent and accurate scholarly metadata.
We are also delighted to welcome several distinguished scholars who have joined our Editorial Board and the team of Chief Editors. Their expertise strengthens our capacity to serve the scholarly community and broadens the intellectual scope of the journal. We look forward to introducing them formally in the pages that follow.
